Autodomme

Connect your Microsoft account to receive task messages

Linking a social account isn't enough on its own — Autodomme needs your Microsoft account connected before it can see when you complete a task and message you about it.

Autodomme reads your tasks from Microsoft To Do. To message you when you complete a task, it needs two separate things connected: your Microsoft account (so it can see your tasks and notice when you finish one) and a delivery channel such as Bluesky (where the message is actually sent). If you have only linked Bluesky, Autodomme has nowhere to read your task completions from — so no message is ever triggered.

Step 1 — Connect your Microsoft account

  1. Open Settings and go to the Connections section.
  2. Under Microsoft, turn on Microsoft Tasks. You will be asked to sign in with your Microsoft account and grant Autodomme permission to read and manage your Microsoft To Do tasks.
  3. Approve the permission prompt. When it completes, the Microsoft Tasks toggle shows as connected.

Step 2 — Choose where messages are sent

  1. Still in Connections, find Bluesky under Social.
  2. Enter your handle (for example name.bsky.social) and press Confirm. This is the channel Autodomme uses to reach you.

Step 3 — Make sure task notifications are on

  1. Open the Notifications section in Settings.
  2. Check that Task Notifications is set to On.

Still not receiving messages?

  • Confirm the Microsoft Tasks toggle in Connections still shows as connected — if your Microsoft sign-in has expired it can quietly switch off.
  • Make sure the tasks your owner assigns actually appear in your Microsoft To Do — that is the list Autodomme reads.
  • Complete a task and allow a short delay for the message to arrive.
